We look forward to welcoming you to any of our services or events - please check our What's On page for details. Our Sunday Service pages include details of recent services including a series of sermons based on the hymn 'Take my life, and let it be'.
This week is special in two ways - it is Christian Aid Week and Dying Matters Week. To support Christian Aid we will be house-to-house collecting and inviting everyone to come to our choir concert, see below. All the details for our events connected with Dying Matters Week are listed under What's On - do give it a look, we hope it will be really helpful to anyone who has issues they would like to discuss concerning end of life care - advanced care planning, funerals, and bereavement. Please take this opportunity to join us in discussions or have a private talk with Mireille Hayden a psychologist, former NHS End of Life Care lead and founder of Gentle Dusk.
On Saturday 19th May our Choir, with extra guest singers, will be giving a concert in the church at 7.30pm. The programme includes: Coronation Anthem: The King shall rejoice by Handel; Te Deum in C - Haydn; Organ Concerto: The Cuckoo and the Nightingale - Handel; Laudate Donimum - Mozart and instrumental and vocal solos. Do come and join us. Entrance is free and the retiring collection will be for Christian Aid.
This month's lunchtime Concert is Friday 25th May when Jonathan Gregory our Director of Music will be giving a recital with a guest oboe player - details to follow.
